Kids and Youth
We love having whole families join us as at King’s as part of the wider church family! During Sunday at 3, we run a number of groups for children and youth to help them love King Jesus, have fun together and build good friendships. Whether or not you’re used to church, there’s something safe and fun for every age group.
Pre-Schoolers
Babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers aged 0-4 years need a little more entertainment than we’re able to offer in our main meetings! At creche, the children play with toys, take part in craft activities, sing songs and have a snack while learning about Jesus from a Bible story.
Parents can drop their child off knowing they will have fun and be well looked after, but if you’d prefer, you can stay with your child until they are happy to stay by themselves. Children can be collected from creche at when the Sunday meeting finishes.
We also run a creche during Women’s Life Group on a Friday morning.
Reception to Year 2
Year 3 to Year 6
Those in school years 3-6 head to Explorers – a group where they enjoy games, and craft activities and learn about King Jesus from the Bible.
After the meeting, children are brought back to the foyer where refreshments are served.
Year 7 to Year 13
Rooted is a group for young people in school years 7-13 that meets every Sunday during term-time from 4:15-5:15pm at Christ Church.
At Rooted our aim is to relax, make friends, and learn about Jesus. A typical Sunday afternoon involves snacks, active games and time looking at the Bible.
King’s takes the welfare and protection of children and youth very seriously. Our leaders are safely recruited and DBS checked. You can find out more about the safeguarding procedures and policies here.
