Kids and Youth
We love having whole families join us as at King’s as part of the wider church family! During our Sunday services, we run a number of groups for children and youth to help them love King Jesus, have fun together and build good friendships. Whether or not you’re used to church, there’s something safe and fun for every age group.
For kids, we run Creche for 0 to 18 months, Scramblers for 18 months to 4 years old, Climbers for 5-7 and Explorers for 8-11.
King’s takes the welfare and protection of children and youth very seriously. Our leaders are safely recruited and DBS checked. You can find out more about the safeguarding procedures and policies here.

Ages 0 to 18 Months
Team Leader: Harriet Mundy
Babies and toddlers aged 0-18 months years need a little more entertainment than we’re able to offer in our main meetings! At creche, the children play with toys, sing songs and have a snack whilst learning about Jesus from a Bible story.
Parents can drop their child off knowing they will have fun and be well looked after, but if you’d prefer, you can stay with your child until they are happy to stay by themselves. Children can be collected from creche when the Sunday meeting finishes.

18 Months to 4 Years

Reception to Year 2
Team Leader: Catherine Finniear
In Climbers, children in school years Reception to Year 2 (ages 5 to 7) meet every Sunday during the service to enjoy games, craft activities and interact with stories from the Bible as we learn more about King Jesus.

Year 3 to Year 6
Team Leader: Leanne Fullbrook
Those in school years 3-6 (ages 7 to 11) head to Explorers – a group where they enjoy games, and craft activities and learn about King Jesus from the Bible.
After the meeting, children are brought back to the foyer where refreshments are served.
